About the Show
Late sixteenth century. A Tameme Indian man and a noble Spanish woman flee through the forests of the New World in search of freedom. Their frantic journey softens the tension between them and dissolves their longstanding differences and creates intimate bonds that threaten their very survival.
Año 1547, Virreinato de la Nueva España. Don Miguel de Ibarra (Eusebio Lázaro) tiene como prisionero al indÃgena Francisco Tenamaztle (Tenoch Huerta) acusado del asesinato de su yerno, su hija Elisa (MarÃa Valverde) tiene las pruebas para demostrar la inocencia del prisionero. Con ayuda de los frailes franciscanos, huye de la custodia de su padre para declarar en favor de Tenamaztle; Painalli y Coyolli dos indios tamemes (Horacio Garcia Rojas y Harold Torres) intentarán llevarla hasta a la costa donde un barco la espera.
